Equine Immersion Experience

Ever wonder what it's like to own or work on a horse farm? Come find out! Join us for a fun filled weekend. Get away from the hustle and bustle of your daily life and spend a day in ours.  If you are interested in staying on the farm please check out our Lodging.

Topics covered to include:
General Farm Safety
Basic Horse Handling and Grooming
How horse's think and interact with horses and humans.
Daily choice of equestrian activity: riding lesson, driving lesson, or hiking with minis or donkeys.

Please remember we are a working horse farm so there can be mud and manure, free range chickens, dogs, cats,
flowers, hay, electric fencing, insects (we have a pretty reliable fly management program but there are still flies, and of course the potential for bees or ticks).

Confidence Camp

With a dressage ring, cross country and stadium courses, come try eventing with us!

Stabling (stall and hay) is included in price for bringing your own horse. (Turn out is possible.) Additional nights are $25/night self serve. All incoming horses are required to have proof of  Flu/EHV and rabies vaccination. NYS horses are required to have a 2022/2023 Coggins test. Out of state horses are required to have a Coggins test within 12 months.

Honey Dew Acres Pony Club Riding Center
After years of involvement with Northern Exposure Pony Club and to better serve our riders, Honey Dew Acres LLC was approved as a United States Pony Club Riding Center in 2007. Our Pony Clubbers enjoy mounted and unmounted activities, and fieldtrips in the region. In 2014, we had 16 pony clubbers compete at the US Pony Club National Championships. The dressage team was awarded 1st in Horse Management as well as the prestigious Margot Leithead Award for Excellence. Our two games team finished 2nd and 4th in Horse Management. In 2015, we had 6 pony clubbers attend  Pony Club East Coast Championships where Elise Franck won the Francis Pitts National Trophy.  In 2021, Logan won the "Tiny But Mighty" Character Award in the Mounted Games Championship. Landon came in 1st and 2nd in every event in Modified Boys Tetrathlon for his age group.
